My Hidden Voice

Another Week In Hell

I met her on a Monday; on Tuesday we were wed,
On Wednesday we were wondering what thoughts were in our heads,
On Thursday it was over; we couldn't get along,
We should have known from the start that this was very wrong.

On Friday we were fighting a battle we can't win,
Yet I was told by everyone to take it on the chin,
And now we're at the weekend and we aren't doing so well,
I guess we're looking forward to another week in Hell.
